Any way to reset password without access to email account?
-
The company I work for manages a WordPress.com blog for a rather large client. The consultant that created this blog and maintained it has since left the company, and unfortunately did not leave the login info for the client. Our client now has new material they want posted on their WordPress.com blog, but unfortunately nobody at our company has access to the login info. I have taken over as the consultant for this client and have been trying desperately to get access to the account. We have figured out the username the previous consultant set up, but cannot figure out the password. Also, the original email address used to set up the account is no longer in service, so the request password reset option is not working for us either.
Does anyone have any ideas of how I could proceed in trying to reset the password while adding a new email address? I understand the options are most likely extremely limited due to the obvious security risks with this type of request. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello there,
The email address that the account was registered to and the blog was registered with is the key identifier. You will have to get them from the party who know them as wordpress.com Staff will not violate privacy.
