Any way to speed up the loading of the new dashboard?

    I’ve noticed that ever since the latest update got rolled out last month the dashboard takes forever to load. I used to be able to check my dashboard while I wait for Gmail to load but ever since the rollout It takes so long to load in my dashboard that I can read a few emails before I can see one bit of info on my dashboard, and since I share a blog with my sister I don’t even get a stats section (which my sis tells me was the slowest section to load) and I feel like it’s loading through molasses.

    Is there any way to get my dashboard to load up any faster? I’m on Epiphany 2.24.1 on Ubuntu 8.10 but the behavior is also present in Firefox 3.
