Any way to use a scrolling marquee function on WordPress.com?

  Is there any way at all to put in a scrolling marquee on WordPress.com? I work for a nonprofit and we have no funding for our own site, but need to display a news ticker. Google and forums are not helping!! Thank you.

  I’m afraid we filter out marquee tags. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

  If you’re displaying news items, and the site has RSS feeds, you can add one (or more) RSS widgets to your sidebar in Appearance -> Widgets.
