Any WordPress.com themes with big featured images with an excerpt PLEASE???!

  I want to increase the featured image size of my blog or buy a new theme that has quite a wide featured image.
  I’d want my blog to look like http://fashionbombdaily.com/ or http://www.ironyofashi.com/
  where the featured image is big and clear AND you have the option to CONTINUE READING…
  I always end up having the full posts displaying of very small featured images as on my curreny blog now (artbecomesyou.com).
  Is there any themes, free or premium, i can buy with these features?
  I also want a sidebar (must) and slider (could compromise on this)
  I have looked at the new theme Promenade and am scared to buy it in case it’s not what I want i want. has anyone used this theme?
  My blog is CSS customized.
