Anybody having issues with video since yesterday’s “update”?

  Ever since the website went down last night, all my video code just goes on to the page as code. ie,

  <object width=”425″ height=”350″> <param name=”movie” value=”http://www.youtube.com/v/AOOddWXMq6k”> </param> <embed src=”http://www.youtube.com/v/AOOddWXMq6k” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” width=”425″ height=”350″> </embed> </object>

  I’m pretty sure I’m doing this right… I’m just copying and pasting form the YouTube page and all my videos before last nights update worked.

  Anybody else having this problem?
  Any ideas?

  I don’t see a post on that site newer than February. Where are you posting these videos? And have you tried the [ youtube=URL ] code instead? That worked just fine for me.

  I’ve been backdating the posts, but everything up there has been posted in the last 72 hours. I did try using the url, couldn’t get it to work, and besides, embedding the code was working fine, until it wasn’t. What changed?

  I can’t even FIND that video using the URL; it comes up full screen for me, with nothing around it, no context, nothing. And then it freezes my browser, causing me to force a restart.

  Can you give me a link to the web page on which that video is found? At YouTube, that is.

  I can’t give you any guidance on the embed code, since I’ve never used it, but I can say that the square bracket format works just fine for me.
