  Once you first enter the site, it showcases full screen photos and it has a nice layout for overview (from the menu).

  Any pointers appreciated.

  Hi there,

  Blask has a similar focus on imagery and minimal feel to it as the site that you linked to. Atlas and Monet are two Premium themes that share some similarities to that site’s layout, also.

  There aren’t any themes in the WordPress.com repository that will allow you to showcase a full screen photo before entering the main content of the site. However, there are many with a strong focus on imagery and photography. I recommend having a browse and using the filters at the top of our repository to narrow them down:
