Anyone know what happened to the "Kadence" theme?

  Hi there,

  It appears the Kadence theme is still available but it is a 3rd party custom theme that only could be used on WordPress.com with the Business Plan:

  One more question, if I go with the business plan will I be able to use the Kadence theme for free or will I have to pay?

  Hi there,

  An upgrade on our end would allow you to upgrade any plugin or theme created by a 3rd party company to “work with WordPress” but we don’t have control over what other companies charge for their product.Kadence WP is not a company that we are connected to, so you may want to see if you can find themes that are similar to Kadence, but offered for free instead.

  Also it’s helpful to think of plugins/themes on WordPress as being similar to apps on a smartphone. As you are aware, most smartphone apps are free, but occasionally there are apps that are so good they are worth purchasing compared to using a free alternative.

  We’re not familiar with Kadence and their offerings, but it may be the case that they have something that is unique and worth paying for. Your business plan would allow you to install it here, but you would still need to purchase it through Kadence.
