Anyone using nowlive.com?

I hold a weekly meeting and am interested in broadcasting it online. I just found out about http://www.nowlive.com. It looks like it would work for me. The have a graphic that says WordPress users are using their system, but I didn’t find any threads about it here on the Forum using the search.

Are you using it? How do you like it? Any tips or suggestions? I am going to try it out during my meeting on Wednesday.

The help file at nowlive shows it uses Flash, which is disabled (along with java) at wordpress.com for security reasons.

A podcast is possible, though. If that’s something you’re interested in, please see the info at the link and for information beyond that, just enter podcast in the search box.

I just started playing with nowlive but the live broadcast widget “struggles” when embedded directly in my self-hosted wordpress sites.

However, my workaround was to create a standalone page with the live broadcast flash widget from nowlive and then use an iframe HTML element with no borders or scrolling, to place it in my wordpress sidebar.

    Hope that helps.

At wordpress.com we cannot use iframes so I’m assuming you are referring to a wordpress.org blog. Is that the case?
