API for the theme repository

  I was looking for an API just like http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress.org_API

  I want to get the themes in the wordpress.com theme repository

  In the wordpress.com/admin/themes.php the themes are pulled dynamically, and even in the http://wordpress.com/themes/ AJAX is used for the infinite scrolling API their is some kind of API which is not documented..

  Hey kathrynwp,

  Thank you for replying, but I am looking for an API to pull the theme details from the wordpress.com theme repository. But the API’s you mentioned are for individual wordpress installations…

  I double-checked with our developers on this. The theme showcase API is still being tested, and while the goal is to make it public, we don’t yet have a release date yet. You can sign up to the developers’ blog to get announcements:
