  Just curious all, what is an API key?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It is a key that allows you to use certain plugins and such from Automattic/WordPress.com on other WordPress blogs and sites such as the blog stats and Akismet spam filter plugins.

  You have an API key with your wp.com blog,
  but people with wp.org blogs can use an account here for stats and plug-ins.
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/api-keys/

  wp.com blogs can’t use plugins at all, but that is how wp keeps track of your stats.
