API key

Just where do I find the API key, it says on the help pages

“If you already have a WordPress.com account, your API key is listed on your profile page, which you can get to by clicking the “My Account” link in the top left when you’re logged in.”

However if this is the case than it is invisible to me as I have trawled through everything in my profile pages and can’t find it…

I hope someone can help as I really want to keep all of my hair.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

On my dashboard I went down to Users>My Profile, then do you see this “Were you looking for your API Key and other Personal Settings?” at the top?

From the support document for API key

The easiest way to find your key is to visit https://apikey.wordpress.com/

You will see your username and your API Key, which is a string of 12 letters and numbers. Note that you have to be logged in to WordPress.com.

Yes, I know, it should have been easier to find on the dashboard, but sometimes the support documents can really help :-)
