API Key
-
Hi, I’m new at WordPress and been having a hard time updating a plugin (WPBakery Visual Composer). It keeps displaying this problem:
Updating Plugin WPBakery Visual Composer (1/1)
Downloading package from envato market…
An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: Error! Envato API error: Username and/or API Key invalid.I already got the “Api Key” but searched all over the panel and couldn’t fin where should I enter it. I’ve tried many tutorials but none of them solved the problem so far, isn’t there like a route (link) to go directly where I need to so I can enter the api key? Or how can I get there on my panel? Why is it so difficult to get there? I’m kind of frustrated by now…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Stop reading tutorials found on the internet that apply only to WordPress.ORG software installs please. They will only confuse you.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs for security reasons, and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/Then read these please:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#html-tagsIf you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database.

We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software and cannot help you.

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
