  I work with NorthStar Christian Center, and we are trying to set up our blog and put it on our app. To do this, we need an API Key, but I am unable to find it. Can you help us by emailing me back at (email visible only to moderators and staff). Thank you

  As I understand you’re building an application that needs to communicate with your WordPress.com blog, right?

  That is correct. Do we have to pay for an API key, or is there another way to get it?

  Hi there,

  What exactly are you trying to do? WordPress.com sites don’t have an API key, and you don’t need a key to make use of our REST API. To connect to your site over the API you need an OAuth token instead. See the explanation here:

  For help with using the REST API, please use the contact form on that developer page. We’re not able to help with that in regular support like the forums.
