API Key Problem

  I have created my blog wordpress (www.wnl.iblogger.org) through byethost.com as I wanted to put Cbox on my Blog wordpress.
  My theme needs plug in to see my blog stats. When I activate wordpress stats plug in..It says it needs API key… When I try to enter key these occurs..Need your helps thanks..

  When I try this:
  It says:
  The API key “xxxxxxxxxxxx” belongs to the WordPress.com account of “aungkyawsan”. If this is not your account, please re-enter your API key.

  Add new blog to my account

  Do this if this blog is new or has never been associated with your API key. This blog will be added to your WordPress.com account.

  And when I add to wordpress.com account : It says again:

  Error from last API Key attempt:

  Missing API Key
  The WordPress.com Stats Plugin is not working because it needs to be linked to a WordPress.com account.

  Enter your WordPress.com API key to link this blog to your WordPress.com account. Be sure to use your own API key! Using any other key will lock you out of your stats. (Get your key here.)

  WHen I click Get your key….and insert..above all messages appear again..

  My suggestion is to contact staff directly. Since we don’t deal with the stats or Akismet plugins here at wordpress.COM (they are already on our blogs automatically when we sign up), the volunteers here in the forum simply don’t have any clue what to tell you. Sorry someone didn’t tell you that sooner.
