Apostrophe 2: Can't change font color in header area?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hey,

so I’m still trying to find the best theme for my website and I quite like Apostrophe 2. Except …. I cannot change the font color in the area where I insert a header image?! Depending on the color of the header image you choose, the default font can be really hard to read. Is there an option I’m overlooking?

    thx

    Hi there,
You can change the color from the Customizer -> Colors & Backgrounds. There’s more helpful information about this tool in this support article: https://wordpress.com/support/custom-colors/#header-text-color.

Please note that at least in Apostrophe 2, the color palette you set is also applied to the footer and possibly other sections of the site.

    I hope that helps!

Ah, now I found it. Its’ very hidden in that theme, because nowhere does it say “font color” or such. But since you were confident it’d be there I tried around and found it :>

    Thank you! :D

Yeah, I guess it could be a bit more obvious, but, hey, now we know where to find it! :-)

By the way, if you don’t want to “experiment” on your actual site, you might want to open another one specifically for testing purposes. It’s a nice solution for these kinds of situations. Here’s a handy link for that: https://wordpress.com/new
