Apostrophe 2 – Changing colour on widget boxes and blog date lines

Hi
I’m trying to change the colour of the widget boxes, the date lines across the feature pictures, and the blog titles. I’ve tried changing this in colours and backgrounds to the ‘pick your own colour’ option but I think this has just changed the background.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Changing these colors would require Custom CSS which becomes available when upgrading the site to WordPress.com Business or Premium. If you decide to upgrade and you’d like help with the code, you can make a post over in the CSS Customization forum, and we’ll be able to assist you there:
