Apostrophe 2 details

    Hello,

I am deliberating on the possibility of transferring to wordpress.com, potentially a paid service along the line. However, before I need to figure out how some of the most basic things work in the given themes.

For instance, is it possible customise the themes further when gone personal/premium paid service with own domain name?

I am particularly thinking of details such as: how to add individual share twitter/FB buttons for the visitors on each blog pieces particular page. Or, changing the very white background of the theme into something more grayish to save some eye-strain? Or maybe even having 4 in a line posts on the opening page of the blog instead of 3?

These are all points of flexibility as I understand, but they are also pretty basic details, too…

    I’d appreciate any opinions, replies.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, Custom Design and Custom CSS are a part of the WordPress.com Premium and Business plan, but is not part of the Personal plan.

Sharing buttons are built into the WordPress.com system and are available on all themes. The icons can be changed with CSS, but some of the functionality would be lost (the number of shares, in particular).

Changing colors and other such styling are all available through custom CSS, and some themes include palettes of colors that you can choose from without having to use custom CSS. Some palettes are available on the free and business plan in some themes, but not all of them.

    Hello again,

Thank you very much. Now I might consider a premium as opposed to a personal deal. (I wish there were a “trial” option first). Anyhow, I am still unable to find the way to have the “share with” links for separate blog posts.

Would you be so kind to direct me to instructions of some sorts?

If you decide a plan is not right for you, it’s possible to obtain a refund within 30 days, with the exception of any custom domain you registered that you would like to keep.

Thank you very much. I just realised I was on private mode. :)

    This was very helpful.

  • Glad you sorted it!
