Apostrophe 2 doesn’t load photo for post

I was forced to change my theme since my old theme was no longer supported. I chose Apostrophe 2 as the new theme since it was most similar. The content all transferred but on the home page no images show up in the cell with the post. It says that it should auto select the first image but does not. WTH?

Before I click around and make any changes, let’s confirm that I’m looking at the right images.
On this post https://oldairhead.wordpress.com/2022/05/01/1977-bmw-r100rs/ You want to see the first image in the opened post as that front cell on the home page? And is that the same for each of the other posts that are on the front page?
