Apostrophe 2 – Header Image problem

    Hello

    I’ve run into a smallish problem with regards to the Header Image within the Apostrophe 2 theme.

    If I hide the Header Image then the logo sits in a great place and neatly aligned to the left, and the approximate height of the Header area is 176px. Great!

    But I fancy a bit of art as well, when I enable the Header Image the image is distorted and takes up a much lager space than it states; “Your theme works best with an image with a header size of 1048 × 214 pixel”. It actually uses a height of 316px so stretches the image if you don’t adjust it to the correct height, the width is correct. And also the logo is moved to some random offset position that makes it look completely lost and totally out of place in the Header Area.

    What CSS style do I need to change so that the Image Header height is either 176px or 214px, and also how to I align the logo back to the left, instead of being in a weird offset position.

    Just to clarify, the 2nd image is with the Header Image – enabled.

    Hi there,

    I do not see any sites under your @agtdenton WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Hi,

    I’ve attempted to add a site to my profile, I can see it when I go to:
    https://wordpress.com/me
    but when I go to https://wordpress.com/forums/users/agtdenton/ I cannot see it there.

    The site is hosted externally @ themetallictaste.com

    Should I be requesting support on the .org site instead, sorry I’m still getting familiar with the world of WordPress, I only realised the differences between them last night.
