Apostrophe 2: Odd glitch with the "Follow" button on email subscription widget
-
Recently (as in, in the last week or so), I’ve noticed that the “Follow” button on my blog is no longer displaying the “Follow” text. Before, it was displaying a blue outline of a box with blue text in the center; now, however, it’s just displaying the blue outline, which isn’t exactly the most appealing thing to look at. The “Follow” message does appear when you mouse over the box, but when you aren’t hovering over it, you can only see the outline.
I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the widget to no avail. I have noticed that this problem only seems to apply to “secondary” widgets — adding the widget as a “primary” or “tertiary” widget fixes the issue. However, for design purposes, I would really prefer to have this widget be “secondary,” so if anyone can help me fix this, I would be super grateful!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
That widget with Apostrophe 2 recently was changed in order to fix another bug with contrast issues, but I’m guessing that’s caused this issue, which is it wasn’t present before. Thanks for reporting it!
You can follow along on the bug report here: https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/575
It should hopefully be fixed soon. :)

Hi there! This should be fixed now, I’ve had a quick look at the button again and the issue no longer seems to be appearing. Please do say if it still does after clearing cache. :)
