["Apostrophe 2" Theme] How to add categories under post titles on home page.

    Hi everyone,

I’m currently running the Apostrophe 2 theme (https://wordpress.com/theme/apostrophe-2/), which is quite beautiful. However, I’d really like to include my blog posts’ categories under their title, as they appear right now on the home page.

Are you aware of any way to do this (as a free user)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Gon

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Yes, that’s possible.

    1. Open WordPress.com Customizer https://wordpress.com/customize
    2. Create a menu on the “Menus” section and add all categories you want to it
    3. On the “Menu location” section just below, assign that menu “Header menu”

It should appear on your homepage, at the top – just below the title.

Does it clarify things for you? Feel free to get back if you have questions.

    Hi Strikebuys,

Thanks for your quick reply! That’s not quite what I had in mind, but I see now that I was unclear in my original post.

    What I meant was:
    – In my home page, my latest blog posts appear along with their featured images.

    – On top of each featured image is the post’s date, and below the featured image is the post’s title.

    – I was wondering if there is a way to include each post’s category, either on top of the featured image like the date, or below it and along with the post title.

    Thanks again,

    G

  • It looks like you have changed the theme to Rowling on your WordPress.com site https://gonhuertas.wordpress.com/ since our last chat.

    Are we all set here?
