  Hello, i’m trying to make my header image for the Apostrophe theme be responsive mobile optimization. Can anyone help me out here?

  What is the URL for the site you are working on?

  I took a look at tinadrill.com and the header looks great on mobile. What are you trying to change?

  Hello Melinda, tinadrill.com is the correct URL. The current header looks good in mobile, because the image was specifically designed to work for mobile. However, the suggested dimensions, 1048X214 do not work well for most images, and it doesnt scale whatsoever.

  I think the theme developer intended for the theme to have a graphic/icon with text next to it, as shown in the mockup at https://apostrophedemo.wordpress.com

  In that application, the header does respond quite nicely.

  I see your concern, but background headers that are so wide do create a challenge in responsive design, on any theme for platform.
