  Hi, re the wordpress app on iphone: my app is not opening and I would like to delete the app and re-install it but I am afraid I will lose all content if I do. It says: by deleting this app you will lose all its data… Does that mean my blog on that app will be deleted, including text and pics..? Many thanks, Emma

  Hi Emma,

  Your blog is safe — deleting the app won’t delete the blog itself, since that is hosted on the WordPress.com servers. However, deleting the app will delete any local drafts you made on the app that weren’t uploaded to your site. (For example, if you wrote posts on the app while you weren’t connected to the internet, those would be saved in the app but not uploaded yet.)

  You can head to your blog’s dashboard to see what posts and other content were uploaded. Anything you see there is already saved, and deleting the app won’t make a difference for that content.
