App login

    hello! i recently changed my password and the login is working on the website, but on the app it is showing the login username for a different account that isn’t mine, and i can’t figure out how to put mine in.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Are you using the iOS or Android app, and is the app currently logged in as the other username?

    If it’s logged in, tap on My Site and tap on the profile picture top right. You should see the Log Out option there. Once you’re logged out, log back in as the correct account.

    However, it might also be a good idea to completely clear out the app data in this case – if your app shows it’s logged in as someone else, it’s possible your app may have become compromised somehow.

    On Android, go to Settings ->Apps, find the app, tap on Storage and data use, and then Clear app data.

    On iOS, delete and reinstall the app.

    Once you’ve done that, log in with your WordPress.com account.
