Support page for ‘Eventbrite Multi’ theme refers to ‘Appearance→ Theme Options’
I can’t see where this option appears
Is the theme outdated? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
No. You need to use the theme customizer to locate the theme options page. https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/

Hey there @timlloyd222,
In your admin area sidebar click on “Appearance”. The “Theme Options” is towards the bottom under “Background”.
I’ve activated the Eventbrite Multi theme on my site and I can see the “Theme Options” button.
-
hi,
i have the same problem in my admin area i don’t find “Appearance” or a way to connect with my event brie account .
is this because i use the free plan hosting ??

@timlloyd222 and @just2311,
Is there any way you guys can take a screenshot of the sidebar when you hover over “Appearance”?
I’m using the same theme on my test site and I can see the “Theme Options” button under “Appearance”.
I’m using the free version at WordPress.com also.
-

Create an account at https://cloudup.com.
Then, read this article on how to share screenshots with Cloudup.
I’ll wait for your response.

I think that there are two menus in WordPress. Just clicking on “My Sites” brings up a simple menu that allows you to add and edit content but does not include a black bar down the LH side.
I managed to get into the admin menu by finding a link somewhere in WordPress support. Magically the menu appeared with the Theme Options. If I ever get to repeat the trick I’ll post how I did it…….. -
I’m so sorry! I wrongly assumed that you were already in the Admin area! I personally only use the Admin area instead of the new Beep Beep Boop editor.
Yes, to find the “Theme Options” button, you’ll have to be in the Admin area.
To go straight to your admin area, type “testwebtim2.wordpress.com/wp-admin” in your address bar.
I hope this helps! Sorry for the confusion!
-
Jsase5 – thank you very much for your prompt assistance. I can now switch into the admin menu whenever I need to.
-
You are very welcome! I’m always glad to help :).
Also, if you’re in the Beep Beep Boop editor under -> My Sites, you can click the “WP Admin” button in the sidebar under “View Site”.
Have a great day!

Hey there, I’m having the same exact problem except I can’t switch into the admin area. My site isn’t the free one so typing “indexoptionguide.com/wp-admin” just gives me a “sorry this page doesn’t exist” message.
Any ideas?

Please do not post intro more than one thread on any single issue. I answered you 4 minutes ago here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/connect-with-eventbrite-problems?replies=3#post-2507403 Post there only as this thread will be closed.

I don’t use it. I use the classic editor only and you can too. See here here https://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
-
As stated above, going to “indexoptionguide.com/wp-admin” only loads a “this page does not exist” message.
Is there a way to navigate to the old editor through menu options on wordpress.com?
