  I want my site to be more like a webpage and less like a blog. I’ve pretty much succeeded, but I have one lingering issue.

  Is there any way to get rid of the “posted by,” “filed in,” “comments off” stuff at the bottom of the first “post” which is my homepage?

  How much do you know about CSS? The upgrade is NOT recommended for those with no experience. You’re advised to try using the free Preview until you know for sure you can make the changes you want, and then and only then purchase it.

  I have little experience, but like I said, I’ve succeeded at everything else I’ve wanted to do. I’ve already purchased the upgrade, and it was a good decision as I’ve been happy with my alterations.

  In most themes, all of that data is connected and if you get rid of it, you also get rid of the Leave a Comment link. Take a look at your CSS and see if that’s the case, because you could be shooting yourself in the foot.
