I don’t like the new look of Misty Lake! Misty Look was just fine: why fix something if it ain’t broken? What have you done to all my blogs? I don’t like the black in the menu bar; why did you change it without asking or telling me? Please, can this revert to the way it was originally???

Since there is no BLACK color in any of the menus on your blog, I think you are talking about the recent changes in the dashboard colors.
The dashboard was changed for ALL users of wordpress.com

The dashboard changes began in April http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2013/04/19/preview-our-future-design/ and were implemented site wide in mid-June and you cannot revert them. Read > http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2013/06/17/beautiful-makeover/ -

You can still use Misty Look if your wish to. Go here > Appearance > Themes and select the retired theme and use it.It’s a retired theme and themes are retired when they do not support all of the features WordPress.com provides. Hence, your “why fix something if it ain’t broken?” claim is odd. The theme was retired months ago so why you are posting this here now is puzzling. Please feel free to use Misty Look again.

Thanks for the replies. I did not know that the dashboards were going to change. Why did it go to black??? UGLY.
I did see the notices that Misty Lake was to replace Misty Look–but did not know I HAD to choose the new one. It’s rather annoying when options are taken away (such as the black in the dashboards).
GUess I’ll suffer along.
