  I inserted a picture – Jpeg – in my blog, then removed it. The image is gone from the blog. But the image still shows on my main – welcome – screen. How can I remove it?

  Thanks for your offer to help.
  Looks like, I stumbled into a solution!
  I inserted a new featured and that took care of the problem. See the post in my website which now shows “Review” as the featured image.
  I learned something: The website design chooses an image in the post as the featured image. So, even after I remove that picture from my blog post, it retains it as the featured image, that is until I manually insert another featured image (which I have done now!)
