Appearance -> Additional CSS: Alternative Editor?

    This is an open question, not an immediate issue.

    I have been using WordPress for about a month now and have taken advantage of adding custom CSS to my site. Everything has worked fine and I’ve received great help from support chats. However, I’ve grown a bit weary of the small left-side CSS editor (accessed through Appearance -> Additional CSS).

    Does anyone know if there’s a more user-friendly editor (through WordPress settings, plugins, etc.)? This might be a personal issue, but sometimes I feel as though the current editor was designed for edge cases rather than regular use. I can edit my pages and posts for hours on end, but after a half an hour or so of using the additional CSS editor my eyes are strained and I need a break.

    Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.

    Good question! I’m not sure a plugin exists that’s specifically designed just to make Additional CSS full screen, but it could be handy.

    And then, since these forums are primarily for free WordPress.com sites that don’t have plugin capabilities, you might also ask in the developer forums, to see if anyone’s aware of one:
