appearance customize page doesn't open (suddenly)

  I was on help Chat some named chrissie was offering to help but after three Chats I now can not even open my customize link! Have no idea if Chrissie was real wordpress help or I am bugged!

  I’m sorry about that! I just read over the chat transcript and it looks like you got cut off. Chrissie is one of our Happiness Engineers. :)

  I’d be happy to help! So it looks like you want to reduce the space between the Header and your blog posts. You are correct that you would need to edit CSS.

  Are you still having trouble opening up the Customizer? If you are, can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

  Solve Common Browser Issues

  Then, restart the browser and go here:

  https://arcticfinearts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?

  Click on the CSS tab and try adding this:

  .site-main .hentry-wrapper:first-of-type .hentry {
  	padding: 0;
  }

  THANK You so much! i tried it and it worked immediately….You are wonderful…your help meant a lot to me.

  How can I Change the Background Color of the Header? I am referring to the gray Color where I have the title…
  I built a jpeg Header but when I try to insert it, it is placed on top of the gray Header….

  I have tried the appearance>customize route but it only changes the Color of the text in the Header…not the Background of the header

  The next page I aim to work at is the Image Gallery of the artworks…But I have just started working on that and I appreciate any hint you can give me….

  I really like the clean Format of the TYPO theme and like to Keep my Information also clean and uncluttered.

  You can actually change this with CSS as well! Try adding this:

  #masthead.site-header {
  	background: CSS COLOR VALUE;
  }

  I’m not sure what color you wanted, so you can add a color by choosing one from here:

  http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp

  Make sure to add the color value with the # in front of it, so an example would be this:

  #masthead.site-header {
  	background: #555;
  }

  Sure! I love adding Galleries as I think it’s the cleanest way to add images. We have multiple gallery styles that may interest you:
