Appearance: Customize Won't Load

  I recently upgraded my account to have access to the CSS, Colors, etc. on themes. Anyway, an hour or so in the “Appearance > Customize” feature won’t load. I’ve tried several different browsers–the page “https://softmachinist.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php” sits there and says “Loading Design Tools” along the righthand side, but they never load. Please help!

  I figured out the issue. I deleted my homepage and hadn’t reassigned anything to it yet (so it was loading to a 404 Page Not Found Error when it brought up the “Appearance > Customize” option.

  Well done!

  That is an issue that can even trip up Happiness Engineers. But it is a known bug and we are working on fixing it.
