Appearance issues with TheStyle theme

Hi, I’ve just purchased TheStyle for a work blog and I have some concerns.
First of all in IE10 I’m seeing that some of the titles of posts on the homepage are not displaying properly, they run out of the box. I see this on the demo site as well.
Second of all, when I click the comment box to type a comment, at the bottom of the form either one (if I’m signed in) or two (if I’m not signed in) checkboxes appear. There is no text associated with them. You can check them but it doesn’t seem to do anything.
