Appearance of front page

  Hi All,

  I’ve taken a look on the forums and support pages, but have been unable to find an answer to my question: can I show just the post title and a short extract of more than one post on my blog front page?

  I have three “sticky” posts on my front page, which are more informative than my usual posts, but I don’t want the whole thing to be visible (i.e. anyone visiting my front page would have to scroll a long way before finding my actual regular content).

  I’ve looked through all the themes and the only one I’ve found which looks like it would do what I want is “Inuit Types”, but with this theme I would lose my banner photo.

  Ideally I’d like the first three posts shown as title (plus perhaps the first paragraph) – essentially “Inuit Types” but with my current photo! – can anyone help?
