    Hi there,

You can use the More Tag to keep your full post from appearing on the front page.

While writing you post, you can add the more tag below the text that you want to have on the front page. That will create a link that visitors can click to continue reading the full post.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

    Hi Rachel,

Thank you! Will try that out now..and ask more questions if I don’t succeed..

    Hi again Rachel,

Thanks much, I have succeeded but don’t like the way it appears, I would love something closest as possible to the Broadsheet theme, with many posts on one page, some on top, and then the pictures appearing that way, so that the blog page looks attractive..would you please help me out, to move around stuff on my page so that it looks better than it does now? I’m using the pinboard theme,..(.If I don’t succeed at all, I may change to the Broadsheet theme)
    thanks!

My tags are many, and they appear immediately on the first page so that the reader sees that first, and I would love them to see the article first, and the tags to be on the bottom like in the Broadsheet theme, thanks

    Hi there,

Each theme is built a bit differently — the Pinboard theme is designed to have the tags appear at the top of the post, above the content. There may be a way to modify the theme’s design using custom CSS. We have some tips for CSS Basics and How to Find Your Theme’s CSS, but you can also get CSS help by posting in the CSS Customization forum:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization

The expert staff and volunteers in that forum can help you figure out if and how you can make the changes you want using CSS.

If that’s not an option, though, you might want to consider switching to the Broadsheet theme to get the look you want. Just let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

I would love to switch to the Broadsheet theme, though when I try it out, my page doesn’t appear the same way it looks, (I haven’t activated it yet, but when I try it, it only displays the posts but not with the pictures as it shows the theme to be) another question do, I have to pay for the theme to be activated? I just paid for the pinboard theme one and a half months back, isn’t it possible to change themes without paying or do I have to cough up more dough to get this theme…?? Please assist as my blog doesn’t look presentable at all..:-(

Yes, you need to purchase the theme to try it. If a Premium theme doesn’t work out we offer a full refund up to 30 days from your purchase. You can read more information about the Broadsheet theme at https://wordpress.com/themes/broadsheet/
