Appearance of publish date
-
I have customised the publish date of my blog “Love At First Sight And True Love” to the 3rd of July 2013 (03/07/2013), but for some reason it appears as the 7th of March 2013 when I googol my name and a list of web pages appear. And when my WordPress page appears in googol it states that my page was published on the 7th of March 2013. Can you please help me, and make sure that the publish date is the 3rd of July 2013.
Thank you, May M Shikhani

Your date and timezone are set here > Settings > General
Note both the Date format and Time Format on the General Settings page provides different format selections, that allow you to make the choices you feel best fits the kind of blog you maintain. -

Hi there,
I just checked your blog’s settings under Settings > General in your dashboard. Right now, under Date Format you have the Custom setting selected and the following date entered there:
03/07/2013
When you enter an actual date in that box, that date will appear on all of your posts exactly as it appears in that box. Google sees the date you manually entered and interprets it as a MONTH/DAY/YEAR format (March 7, 2013, instead of July 3, 2013).
If you want the date to appear in the format DAY/MONTH/YEAR, you can select the fourth option in the Date Format list instead of the Custom option. That will make the date on your post and in Google match the correct date.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Why is (March 7, 2013) still appearing ?? I have selected the fourth option in the date formate, but the date in Google is still (March 7, 2013).

Hi there,
It can take Google some time (sometimes a few weeks or more) to update their search results after a change like this on your blog. There’s nothing we can do to force Google to update their results faster, but sometimes it can help if you set up Google’s Webmaster Tools for your blog.
If you’re interested in that, we have a guide for setting up Webmaster Tools here: Webmaster Tools
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that.
