Appearance of text on shared posts

    Hi. I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the formatting of the text blurb that appears when I share a post on facebook or on the wordpress reader. I begin every blog post with a bullet-pointed list. However, when I share it, the bullet points disappear and I just get a string of words that are probably confusing and don’t particularly make people want to click on the post the read it. Is there any way to preserve the bullet-point formatting when I share my posts?
