appearance or displaying pictures in media library

  Hello. Some pictures after download (as the media to the media library ) appear normal while others do not . Created a small icon with the real parameters lake volume and dimensions but the pictures can not be seen as such . I have trying with different pictures and I can not distinguish the decisive factor . Could you help?

  Hi there,

  Very sorry for the troubles! I’ve taken a look at the files in your media library, and while some of them are definitely not appear correctly I also cannot find a definite cause. Normally when a file is uploaded not correct it’s one of these issues:

  • The file size of the image is too large.
  • The file is not an accepted format.
  • The storage space is full.
  • The internet connection is slow.
  • There is a problem between your computer and the WordPress.com server. (You do not have a direct line here. Your connection will go through any number of hubs before it gets here and one problem along that line could cause a problem.)

  The only options that seem relevant here are your internet connection, or the connection to the WordPress.com servers.

  As a first step, might I suggest deleting the broken images from your Media LIbrary. Next, attempt the upload on those images again, one by one. This way the upload will be less of a strain on your connection.

  Would you let me know if re-uploading individually does not help?

  Hello Alex – thank you for answer and help. Unfortunately, none of the reasons he was not significant.
  In the end, I discovered a common factor of “broken images”. All were took in raw and – before exporting them to jpg I have changed original colour profil of my camera encoded in these pictures (From reddish of Nikon D7000 to natural Nikon D4).
  I have found two solutions: one is to restore the original profile in pictures (back to unwanted color) and the second export to tiff and then convert it to jpg (are good colors). I write about both ways if someone wanted – I choose the second course : -)
