  How can I get to Appearance tab to appear on my dashboard? I have tried and read most of the articles. I need a hands on approach.

  Thanks for reaching us. Please share the website address you are trying to tell us about.
  
  However, from your_site on left sidebar you will find the Appearance and when you hover on the Appearance you will find “Customize” option. This is where you’ll find most appearance-related settings. Inside the Customizer, you’ll find various options related to the appearance of your site. This may include themes, site identity, colors, fonts, and other customization options.
