  My site is older and outdated. In the process of trying to update it, I selected a new theme and the entire thing is a mess now. How can I get back to the original theme?

  Thanks for confirming! If I understand correctly, you were previously using Toujours for this site. It should go back to how it appeared before if you reactivate Toujours, which you can do from here:
  https://wordpress.com/theme/toujours/hundredacredesign.wordpress.com

  What sort of aims did you have for the appearance update? Feel free to let us know what you’re going for and we can possibly suggest something to get you going in the right direction!
