Appearing in Google Search

  Hello out there!

  I’ve just made a website (graceweaver.com) and would like it to appear in a Google search of my name: “Grace Weaver.” That is also the title of my website. I have made the privacy settings such that it can be indexed by search engines, but it is still not coming up. Any tips for getting this to happen?

  What attracts search engines is unique content in posts (not pages) that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet.   Here are some tips.

  If you want to increase traffic then don’t listen to anyone who professes there are passive ways of doing that. Increasing traffic to a blog is hard work. If you want your blog to rank well in search engine results and secure a traffic flow from the SERPs (search engine page results) then that begins with creating and publishing original content posts (not pages) ie. unique content that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet.   Hi,

  I have the same problem here. My blog is anttikaunisto.wordpress.com, I have allowed indexing and besides that I’ve blogged about a year now and produced about 50 posts or so. So when it comes to ‘original content’ I think that should be covered, but my blog doesn’t show up in google if searching with my name antti kaunisto. Also, there aren’t many people with same name. Does it matter?
