"Appearnace" and "Users" not listed on dashboard

Hello roseandweiser and timethief,
I contacted support on 6/10 but haven’t heard back. Any tips on getting an answer? I can’t move forward with my blog until this issue gets fixed. Thanks in advance. -
I also contacted Support on Friday, but have not heard back.
I can live with being unable to change the appearance, but without being able to do anything with Users, the blog is useless. -

I’m sorry you are experiencing this. Staff are busy answering support tickets. As there are millions of us users I assume their ticket queue is a lengthy one. Please be patient while waiting for the to get back to you. I have also flagged this thread so it gets Staff attention. -

I tried to add a new post this morning, and can’t do anything but edit, preview, or trash it. How do I publsih it?
I’m wondering whether my being unable to publish posts or see a way to approve comments means that I don’t have administrative privileges?
If so, that could explain why I don”t have “users” or “Appearance” in my dashboard. But it does raise the question of who does have administrative privileges for the blog, since it’s my blog.

I have set you back to an Administrator role.

staff-blorbo: Is it me or a LOT of people are making that same mistake lately? Any plans on having some kind of filter to prevent people from adding themselves as contributors?
