"Appearnace" and "Users" not listed on dashboard

  It was actually Chrome 12.0.742.91 but I was being lazy by not writing it down.

  Hello roseandweiser and timethief,
  I contacted support on 6/10 but haven’t heard back. Any tips on getting an answer? I can’t move forward with my blog until this issue gets fixed. Thanks in advance.

  I also contacted Support on Friday, but have not heard back.
  I can live with being unable to change the appearance, but without being able to do anything with Users, the blog is useless.

  I’m sorry you are experiencing this. Staff are busy answering support tickets. As there are millions of us users I assume their ticket queue is a lengthy one. Please be patient while waiting for the to get back to you. I have also flagged this thread so it gets Staff attention.

  I tried to add a new post this morning, and can’t do anything but edit, preview, or trash it. How do I publsih it?

  I’m wondering whether my being unable to publish posts or see a way to approve comments means that I don’t have administrative privileges?

  If so, that could explain why I don”t have “users” or “Appearance” in my dashboard. But it does raise the question of who does have administrative privileges for the blog, since it’s my blog.

  You invited yourself to be a contributor on your blog and accepted, thus demoting yourself to the Contributor role.

  I have set you back to an Administrator role.

  staff-blorbo: Is it me or a LOT of people are making that same mistake lately? Any plans on having some kind of filter to prevent people from adding themselves as contributors?
