Apple Pay Not displaying
-
Hello,
I have a wordpress site with woocommerce that has the payment request buttons for apple and google pay enabled and apple pay is set up as a payment method in my stripe account. However, the google pay button when I am on a device with google shows up but not the apply pay button on apple devices.
Can anyone help?
Thanks :-)

Hi there!
Can you let us know what extension you’re using to add those buttons? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thanks!
-
Erm not quite sure what that means? I have a woocommerce stripe gateway plugin installed which I think is how the apple is enabled. I am not an expert in this at all!
Thanks
-
No need to be an expert! We’re happy to get you pointed in the right direction to get help. :)
There’s a few troubleshooting steps under the FAQ section of this page depending on how you have Stripe set up that might fix your issue: https://woocommerce.com/apple-pay/
If you still have trouble after trying those steps, reach out to WooCommerce support by opening a new support request here: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
I hope that helps!

Thank you so much for your help!
Having just looked at this I notice I have enabled the payment request button through stripe, however there is also a separate option through woocommerce payments that has the apply pay logo (and others next to it) Should I try doing it this way or would it mess up my stripe payment options?
I don’t have exactly the same layout/where things are as stated in the https://woocommerce.com/apple-pay/ FAQ – for instance I don’t seem to have a Settings > Payments > Apple Pay.
Thanks :-)

Hello there,

It sounds like you’re running the risk of doubling up on Stripe method payments there.
Have you followed this set up guide to get Apple working in Stripe: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#apple-pay ?

Hi,
my domain appears listed in the apple pay configuration on my stripe dashboard already, so surely I don’t need to do the bit about hosting a domain association file too (whatever that means?!)
So my understanding of it is that apple pay is connected to my stripe account which in turn is connected to my woocommerce site, and the apple pay button is enabled in the payments area but it is not showing on the site itself. As google pay IS showing then why doesn’t apple pay?
Would it work if I disable the stripe gateway and use the woocommerce one instead? I was told the stripe one is better to use though. :-(
Plus I am having problems getting klarna set up to, but that’s another story!

This is really something the support team over at WooCommerce.com will be better able to help you with. While WordPress.com and WooCommerce belong to the same company, they’re completely different products, and we’re not experts on the finer aspects of how WooCommerce and the many add-ons for it works.
Go to WooCommerce.com and click the button top right to log in using your WordPress.com account. Then you’ll be able to create a support ticket for help with this at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

Their support ticket system doesn’t seem to be working!
I have inputted all the info three times now and when press submit and it says ‘something went wrong and we couldn’t submit your ticket’
-
Hmm, that’s odd – there’s no reported issues there from what we can see.
Can you tell me if you’re able to submit a ticket even after clearing the browser cache?
-
I have now cleared my browser cache and restarted my machine twice and inputted all the info in twice and its still saying the same thing – can’t submit my ticket
-
That’s quite strange! You can get around that by contacting our “Presales” team at https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/ and then choose the “I have a question about a specific extension or theme I’d like to purchase” option on that page.
Presales questions do not require account authentication to submit. Just let them know the issue you are having in your question, and they will correctly route you to the team that can handle your Apple Pay issue.
Let us know if you still have trouble and we’ll see what we can do.

aaaaggghh I can’t seem to do it on their either! Could it be my internet security or something? Is there and email address I can contact instead?
-
Hello again,
Hmm, it’s quite possible – is this via a browser extension installed? Also, do you have any adblockers installed?
-
its via microsoft edge but I seem to have a few similar problems at the moment. I don’t have any ad blockers or browser plugins installed and my internet security software is not newly installed so don’t know why its happening now.
-
-
my internet security software – bitdefender won’t let me visit anything on chrome! I don’t know if this is where the problem is coming from but I have had it installed for ages
-
Hello again..
Hmm, it’s possible this software can affect how sites operate, and if they’ve recently updated this can result in a change.
Are you able to submit a support request on a different device? https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
