Apply CSS or resize image

    I have an existing site (www.pearlsofwisdomstories.com). There is a hero image that scales fine on all screensizes. I used the same image on my WP site (https://powswp1.wordpress.com/), and the image does not scale well. I tried applying some CSS, but that didn’t take. What is the process to adjust the image to fit. I don’t want to resize the image as it works fine on my other site.

    Hi there!

    Please note that the appearance and how it reacts to different browser windows/sizes are often dependent on the theme. So if you have different themes, they will work differently.

    Having said that, I noticed that you inserted the image with a cover block on your WordPress.com site. Could you try removing the cover block and using an Image block instead?

    An image block will resize while making sure the entirety of the image is visible. A cover block will get cropped automatically, and that is by design. If you’re looking to show the full image on all screen sizes, I recommend using the Image block instead.
