Apply for expired domain: goldenmean

How can I apply for an expired domain? I tried to apply for the “goldenmean” domain, but was rejected as the system said it already exists. When I attempt to go to that website, it says it no longer exists.

The authors have deleted this blog.Deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
