applying my own domain

  Hi .. My Mrsite account closed when it shut down and I was recommended by TSOHOST to transfer to word press.. I have built my page but it has a wordpress.com address…I have my my own domain name and would like to apply it ti my page

  TsoHost was recommending their WordPress hosting which uses WordPress.org software and not WordPress.com hosting. I know that is confusing that there are two! This breaks that down: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  You can apply your domain to WordPress.com hosting by upgrading to a paid plan here. You won’t need hosting at TsoHost.
  You can map the domain and maintain the domain registrar you have: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
  Or you can transfer to WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  You’ll need a plan to do any of these. https://wordpress.com/plans

  If you did not want to host at WordPress.com but intended to continue with TsoHost on their WordPress.org hosting, you can move what you started here: https://move.wordpress.com/
