Applying the theme 'Publication'

  How do I apply the ‘publication’ theme to my site? I selected ‘Activate this design for free’ but it doesn’t apply the template – it looks completely different.

  Thanks for your help! I also downloaded a ‘publication-wpcom’ folder but I have no idea what to do with this.

  Hi there, I see you have not yet launched your above site. Is that the site you need help with or a different site?

  When in your WPcom Design>Theme dashboard at https://wordpress.com/themes/cragcarecom.wordpress.com search for “publication” without the quotes and then click on the three dots in the lower right corner of the thumbnail and then “activate”.

  You need not download anything to use Publication here on your WPcom site.

  If Publication is already activated on your above WPcom site you can follow the guide here to setting up your site. https://wordpress.com/theme/publication/

  Remember that if this is an entirely brand new site, you’ll need to set it up and add content to get it to look like the demo.
