Approve Standard Theme for WP.com

    I would love to see Standard Theme by 8bit brought to WordPress.com as a premium theme.

    I’ve been blogging with WordPress for a few years and seriously love the platform. The interface is easy to use, the features are seamless and I feel inspired to write every time I log in.

    In January of this year I ventured into the realm of a self-hosted blog using the WordPress platform because I wanted a more customizable experience and discovered a theme I cannot more highly recommend. Standard Theme‘s integration of the admin panel on the dashboard, support and community are phenomenal.

    When Premium themes were launched on WP.com awhile back my first thought was, “Hey, I wonder if StandardTheme will be on there?”. I currently have a WP.com blog and a self-hosted blog, but I would love the opportunity to combine them to a single platform and help support WP.com by upgrading my blogs w/ custom CSS, a Premium theme like Standard Theme, and registering my domains thru WP.

    The leader of the 8bit team, John Saddington, is a huge evangelist for WordPress and is one of the main reasons I use the platform. I have drunk the koolaid.

    Please help bring Standard Theme to WordPress.com as a Premium theme.

    I would also love to see Standard Theme by 8bit brought to WordPress.com as a premium theme. It is the best theme for self-hosted WordPress and would be a great addition to the free WordPress theme library!

    Agreed! To be honest, I didn’t even flinch before using Standard Theme when I began blogging in January. I had only heard good things and knew that was going to be my ‘Theme of Choice’! It has proved to be the best theme in the market and I know it would be a fantastic addition to the free WordPress library as well.

    Not only is the theme absolutely lightweight and blazingly fast, the Standard Theme community is above the rest when it comes to “community support.” There is instant help via twitter and the forums. It would be an awesome addition to the WordPress Premium Theme library.
