Approved Comments will not delete

I deleted some old entries because I wanted to start fresh. However, there are still 27 “approved comments” that will not delete. I click the X , try moving them to trash, but nothing works.

You ought to be able to quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk. Comments are not deleted separately. Delete posts and pages and the comments are automatically deleted with them.

Thank you for the reply! I have tried bullk deleting them and deleting them individually. They were imported from an external source along with the journal entries. I have deleted the entries, but these 27 comments remain.

There can sometimes be issues removing comments on imported posts. If you provide links to the 27 comments you want to delete, we can take care of it for you.

And on a side note, I have a business that I have registered the website, Twitter, and ebay for, “Apothecarius” but on WordPress this name is reserved, but there is no blog. Is there any way that you could look into seeing if I can register this name? (Thanks again for all your help!)

I’ve deleted the last two comments for you.
About the reserved name – unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to assign you another person’s reserved blog name. We reserve all usernames in case folks one day do want to set up their blog, it’ll be ready and waiting for them. Hope you understand!
