Arbitrarily removed from Automattic Ads (again!)
-
Yesterday my blog was removed from Automattic Ads without notification through our administration email address, but instead one of my blog’s other authors was contacted, who doesn’t even read his emails.
Furthermore, this is claimed to be due to not extending subscription. I haven’t bought any subscription for months already. Beyond that, it should not matter as Automattic promised that my blog would remain part of WordAds as we were part of WordAds long before the subscription model was introduced. We haven’t been contacted ever that this changed and we needed to buy a subscription. Even worse than that, we were arbitrarily chosen to be removed, as contact with other bloggers confirms that nobody else who Automattic made this promise to has been removed from WordAds.
I’ve had problems with Automattic employees for almost 4 years now, in which 1 causes problems, and others have to resolve what another employee caused. Many of these events involved us getting removed from WordAds and later being stated that this ‘was a mistake.’ I’ve even had a response once that it was due to the posting of Ukrainian content at the start of the Russian invasion and it supposedly being done by me for virality, regardless of the fact that I’m a Ukrainian.
I really would like to ask for an Automattic employee to look at this and finally make it so the problems with your employees end. During my last contact with a happiness engineer, it was promised that my blog would be added on some kind of list that would prevent these things from happening again. And yet, it still hasn’t changed…
