Archive by Categories, Longer list of posts in each category
-
I have the Catagories Widget in my sidebar. When viewers click on a specific category that should contain several posts, only one appears. They have to click “previous entries” or “next entries” to scroll through to the other posts.
For instance, here:
http://aaronamandanelson.wordpress.com/category/africa/page/2/There probably is a very easy way to have more posts than one appear in a list in that category when they click on it. How do I do that? I am concerned people won’t realize there are other posts in that category. Thanks for the help. You guys are really terrific to offer this kind of support.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you set your blog to show only one post per page? Those settings apply to your Category pages as well.

Yes probably. So there is no way to have more than one show in the archives but only one on the main site?

You could purchase the custom css addon. Afterwards, you set the value to e.g. 10, hide posting 2-9 and the next/previous links on the front page (
p2, p3, p4, p5, p6, p7, p8, p9, p10, body.home .navigation {display:none}). Tricky, but works.Thomas

Does that not work on ALL of the above, including posts displayed in the blog? You don’t need the CSS upgrade to do that.

When you click on my catergories, it only shows the catergory’s archive. How do you make it so that it shows the actual posts?

I answered you in this other post you started: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/two-questions-help-please?replies=2 . Please do not post the same question in multiple threads as it causes the volunteers to run around in circles chasing you and then they get crabby.
